Welcome Ministry The purpose of this ministry is to contact new parishioners (either by phone or personal visit) to help them feel at home in their new parish community. Visitation Ministry Trained volunteer parish members make contact with parishioners at a time of need. Members visit parishioners who are hospitalized or residing in nursing homes. Communion is brought to those who are homebound. The focus of this ministry offers outreach to those who have special needs. info[at]sjccduluth.org Helping Hands This organization assists members of the community when an extra hand is needed in the home or when a crisis arises. Some specific examples of the help they provide include meals, childcare, light housework, errands and transportation. Please sign up as someone who can help and if you find you or your family in need, please take comfort in knowing this group is there for you. info[at]sjccduluth.org Funeral Lunch Helpers We offer a special service to parishioners when a death occurs in the family; we serve these members a lunch. Many of these funeral lunches involve 200 or more family members and this is where we need your help. Please consider volunteering, if only for an hour, to help with many tasks to prepare the church hall for this special event. Prayer Chain "Ask and you shall receive". Special prayer requests are continually prayed for. All requests are kept confidential. Feel free to call the parish office. info[at]sjccduluth.org
