Accessibility A wheelchair ramp entrance to the Church is located on the St John's Avenue side of the building (left side when facing the main entrance), and an elevator provides access the the basement church hall and ADA-compliant restrooms. Parish Library This could be one of St John's best-kept secrets! Our library and reading room is located in the rectory basement. It is open and available for use during regular weekday office hours, Sunday mornings before the liturgy, and other times by appointment (just call the parish office). The library contains many wonderful books on a wide variety of topics including: saints, women's spirituality, Catholicism, prayer, liturgy, and much more. Sunday Morning Nursery St John's Nursery is a cooperative where parents with children ages 1-3 can be cared for by another adult and youth volunteer during the Mass. It is located in the "Bride's Room" and is available from the beginning of October to the end of May during the Sunday morning Mass. Parents who have signed their child up to be in the nursery are automatically scheduled to care for the children in the nursery at least once a month. Youth volunteers ages 12 and up are greatly needed to help in the nursery. Crying Room If your infant or toddler is a little cranky during a service you are welcome to use this room in the back of the church. There is a small selection of toys and several books to help keep your child occupied. Please tidy up the room as you leave so it's ready for the next service. Parish / School Gym The gym is available for various parish-sponsored or family activities. Certain events will require a certificate of insurance and/or a donation. Simply call the parish office for all the details.
